New David Lynch fanboy portrait in the style of the Woodsman from Twin Peaks, season three, episode eight. The idea to create the image came about as a result of my own interest in this character. Numerous theories can be unearthed online, discussing the deeper meaning, if any, of the woodsman’s murderous hijacking of an urban radio station in Lynchian black and white, 1950’s America. His dialogue, distorted and humming with deep and foreboding electrical energy, uttered over the airwaves, induces collapse and likely coma to all who hear his darkly compelling words – “This is the water, and this is the well. Drink full and descend. The horse is the white of the eyes and dark within.”
